Description of Products for Trade Inquiry
It is a packaged version of "Yakimen," a soul food representing Shunan City. Inspired by the famous tile soba, a representative dish of Yamaguchi Prefecture, this product was developed by the previous generation approximately 50 years ago. Unlike tile soba, it features flat and chewy noodles made with udon, incorporating the unique texture of wakame seaweed.
Despite having a long history of 50 years, the product known as "Yakimen" faced closure three years ago due to the aging of the previous owner. However, driven by a strong determination not to lose this unique flavor, negotiations were made, and the decision was made to inherit this taste. With the desire to introduce this flavor to many people and create an environment where anyone, no matter how far away, can enjoy this taste anytime, we embarked on the journey of product development.
