The structure of Steel House (NSSF) replaces the framing materials of traditional wood-frame 2x4 housing with steel (galvanized lightweight steel sections approximately 1mm thick). This method offers excellent constructability, providing comfort and durability to the building owner. Walls and floors are constructed indoors in a factory, then transported to the site for assembly, reducing on-site work and shortening the construction period. Additionally, as the steel components (lightweight sections) are fastened together with screws, there is no need for welding skills or large equipment—construction can begin with just an impact driver. This method enables construction even in disaster-stricken areas.
