Our brewery was founded in Ogawa, Saitama Prefecture. In Meiji 33, seeking the advantages of the land and water, we established a brewery along the Nakasendo Fukaya-shuku highway.

Since then, with a brick chimney soaring over 20 meters as our symbol, we have been cherished as Fukaya's local sake for many years. In Heisei 19, the sixth-generation head, Hidenori Takizawa, succeeded the previous toji (master brewer), who was a Nanbu toji. Taking on the role of toji himself, he continues the challenge, incorporating new techniques and perspectives while building on the inherited traditions. With a commitment to handmade innovation, we have been dedicating efforts to the development of authentic sparkling Japanese sake in recent years.

Description of Products for Trade Inquiry

We offer "Kikusui Hitosuji" (720ml), developed over eight years. Utilizing the Champagne method, it is a transparent sparkling junmai sake produced through secondary fermentation in the bottle. It features a pleasant acidity, refreshing carbonation, and brings out the umami of Japanese cuisine. The lively bubbles and delightful acidity enhance the flavors of French and Italian dishes. In 2019, we obtained a patent for the production method of sparkling sake (Patent No. 6611181).
