As time passed, in the 61st year of the Showa era, we transformed into a specialty shop focusing on "anago no amamizu-ni" (sweet simmered conger eel). Continuing the tradition from our days as an inn, we proudly serve each conger eel skewered, presenting the natural form of the fish as it swims in the clear stream.
Our establishment is located along the pristine Kisogawa River in Mie. Founded in the 22nd year of the Meiji era, we started as an inn specializing in ayu (sweetfish) cuisine, named "Minatoya." Over the past 130 years, we have been cherished by many patrons.

Description of Products for Trade Inquiry
The "Hon-Ayu Amamizu-ni," which has been served as a traditional dish since our inn days, is a classic and substantial item from Minatoya. Cooked using our unique method, we simmer it to tenderness from head to tail, allowing you to enjoy the entire sweetfish. Please savor the authentic taste of a traditional inn at your dining table.

We are grateful to conduct business in this naturally blessed place where the soothing sound of the river is audible. This unwavering sentiment is the essence of "Minatoya" (meaning gratitude for the sound of water). While the sixth generation introduces a new breeze, we continue to inherit the traditional flavors and techniques passed down through generations, ensuring that the spirit of our predecessors lives on.
