The company was founded in 1900 by the founder, Washigoro Ito. During the period of rapid economic growth, the company specialized in chicken processing operations, opening directly managed retail stores in supermarkets and starting wholesale of chicken meat. After the collapse of the bubble economy, in order to change to a high value-added line by introducing the "Chicken Sanwa" branding strategy, the company converted to production, processing, and wholesale sales of Nagoya Cochin and retail food service stores to department stores and other commercial facilities nationwide. Today, we are engaged in a wide range of sales including wholesale, souvenirs, mail order, and retail development.
