Originating from the craftsmanship of carpentry tools such as chisels and planes, our blade manufacturer started its journey and relocated to the current base in Seki City at the beginning of the Showa era. During the challenging wartime period when obtaining iron became difficult, we shifted our main focus to crafting carving knives for schoolchildren. Alongside the brand of "Blades Town Seki City," Yoshiharu carving knives gradually expanded their market presence, maintaining the top share for many years. While carving knives from Seki City may not be priced as affordably as those produced overseas, they continue to be chosen for their undeniable quality with the sentiment, "Yoshiharu Knives is the best."
